Greenhouse gas containing Hydro Fluorocarbons (HFC's) are used in the manufacture of non-flammable airdusters, it is also used in air conditioning and many industrial applications. This demand has created a shortage and resulted in major price increases from manufacturers which will be felt in 2005.
Although the alternative flammable products are cheaper, the European market in particular has

|
traditionally favoured the non-flammable type, considering them to be safer.
However, Denmark has been the first country in the EU to prohibit HFC in aerosols, thus effectively wiping out the market for non-flammable products. Interestingly, flammable airdusters carry the same instructions of use as many domestic aerosols.
It remains to be seen however, whether this bias will hold up

against lower cost 'greenhouse gas free' competition.
Systemcare stocks both types of airduster and is happy to supply both - another example of how, in an ever-changing business environment, we constantly strive to keep our customers ahead of the game.
