The schoolapproachedCopyriteSystems to
help it resolve itsprintmanagement issues.
Theirexistingprintestatewasmadeupof
ageingandadhocdesktopequipment that
wasexpensive to runandmaintain. We
workedwith the school todescribeand

TheSolUTIoN
Without impactingnormalschool
operations,CopyriteSystems installed
adeviceagenton theschool’snetwork
thatcaptureda fullauditofprintasset
informationandprint throughputs. This
indicated thatasignificantnumberof
theschool’sdeviceswere functionally
redundant,and that theschool’s
requirementscouldbemoreefficiently
served through thestrategicplacementof
RicohA4multi-functiondevices (MFD’s),
and the installationof largerRicohA3
MFD’s inkeyareas.
Thesenewdevicesenabled schoolusers
to significantly improve theircopy,print
and scancapabilities. CopyriteSystems
also installedEquitracprintmanagement
softwareacross the school’sprintnetwork,
resulting in theeliminationofwastage,
bettercontrolofcolouroutput,and the
provisionofassetmanagement information
and reporting. Italsoenabledusers to
pickupprint jobs fromanyof the linked,
networkeddevices.

improve the school’s standardsaccreditation
compliance through thedeploymentof
highlyenvironmentally friendlydevices,
achieved through reducedwaste, theuse
ofemulsionaggregate toners,heatefficient
